In America, racial discrimination was the force behind slavery and segregation among the states. How about racial disparities in understanding and treating pain? Science tells us that we don’t respond to the pain of others equally. We’re joined once again by Faith Ringgold, a celebrated and award winning African American artist. We’ll continue our discussion about racial disparities, how it influences our perception of pain, and the hope for ending racism in society.
